Pockets

A pocket nappy consists of a waterproof cover with a pocket lining sewn in with either one or two openings in the lining; The pocket lining can either be made from synthetic fabric (stay-dry) or natural fibers. Inserts that absorbs the urine, are stuffed into the pocket lining. Inserts can be made of a variety of fabrics, the most popular being microfiber, bamboo and hemp. One size fit most (OSFM) fits babies from about 4,5-17kg.

Our pockets consist of a PUL cover and seude cloth Inner. Our pockets are like sleeve pockets, this just mean it has two openings. We also have double gusset /double elastics at the legs, which gives you a leak proof nappy. There is also a snap for snap in inserts if you do want to use them, but we sell ours with normal inserts. Most importantly we sit a little more effort in when ordering our pockets from the suppliers. We chose our own print, our own snap colors and our own plain PUL colors.

Store in a dry bucket until wash day (3 days at most). Nappies needs to be washed in cold water (35˚C). Covers needs to be dried on a line, inserts can be tumble dried on low heat. No bleach/fabric softener must be used.

Covers

Covers are made of PUL waterproof fabric that lock in moisture. Perfect to wrap around fitteds, flats and prefolds.

We chose our own prints and our own snap colors when ordering from our suppliers. Also, double gussets/elastics which gives you a leak proof nappy. We have One size fits most and newborn size (fits from birth till 6-7kg).

Fleece pocket night nappy

Our handmade fleece pocket nappy consists of a double layer fleece cover with a fleece pocket lining sewn in with one opening in the lining. This nappy comes with two four layered hemp/cotton fleece inserts and one T-shaped cotton fleece inserts. Hemp/cotton fleece inserts are stuffed into the pocket lining.  Night nappies needs to be rinsed straight off the bum in warm water, this Is to get as much urine out as possible to prevent stink issues. This nappy with inserts is perfect for light- medium wetters, heavy wetters may need additional inserts. If you have a forceful wetter you can also add a micro-fibre Insert on top of the other Inserts, closest to the bum but still underneath the fleece lining layer.

This nappy can be used with any type of insert of your choosing, thats what makes this so amazing. It is just like your normal pocket but fleece, so nice and soft.

Daytime softshell fleece pocket

Our daytime nappy is made of a softshell waterproof outer layer and a fleece inner lining. The material is much softer on babies skin and the fleece lining gives a stay dry layer for the time it is on babies bum. This nappy is also perfect for any baby with sensitive skin. This nappy is OSFM which will last from about 5kg-16kg.

Training pants

Trainers are pull-up type cloth nappies used for potty learning. It doesn’t have the same absorbency capabilities as other types of cloth, so it works more effectively as a back-up option rather than as a full cloth nappy solution. Trainers are not necessary in every cloth journey and can be used depending on personal preference. Our training pants fits from 13-16kg.

Inserts

Inserts are layers of absorbent fabric. Mostly used is microfibre, bamboo and hemp fabrics.

  1. Micro-fibre inserts

These inserts comes standerdly with our pocket nappies. They absorb really fast taking the urine straight away from the bum.

  1. Bamboo inserts

These inserts are really nice and soft. Bamboo inserts absorb quicly but does not hold a lot of urine.

  1. Hemp inserts

Hemp inserts absorbs very slow but holds the most urine.

4. Newborn snap-in micro-fibre/bamboo and hemp due inserts

Our newborn snap-in inserts consist of two inserts. On top, you get a 3-layer insert, bamboo| micro-fiber |bamboo and the second insert is a four-layer hemp jersey insert. Just snap these into your newborn cover and you have a complete nappy.

Wetbags

This is a bag made out of PUL waterproof fabric in which you can store you nappies when your on the go.

Sunlight gel

A green gelish type of washing detergent, handmade for washing cloth nappies. Only available at shows or on request.

For 7kg front loader machine use 3/4 to 1 cup. If your machine has a bigger capacity, use more gel. Top loaders also need more detergent. An extra rinse cycle after washing cycle is needed to prevent soap build up.

Can also be used to rub on stains before going in the washing machine. If you spot a soap buildup or have some soap stuck to your nappies dissolve your recommended detergent In a little bit of warm water before you add It to the washing machine.

Cloth wipes

Two layers consisting of flannel and toweling sew together to make the perfect cloth wipe. Just spray with water and wipe baby’s bum.

Disposable liners

A disposable liner looks like a dry wet wipe and is used to catch the solids in your nappy.

Pocket stuffer

Struggling to find time to stuff your pockets? Nappies pilling up and you just can’t seem to get yourself to stuff the pockets. Hands just too big to stuff the pockets.
